Fee Structure.
Registration Fees:
- $25 per student
- Registration fees are non-refundable.
- More information on the registration fees and how to register can be found on Jackson Tutorial's main webpage.
- Resource fees cover costs of supplies used by the teacher to prepare for your students lessons, such as ink, paper, additional resources used to prepare for class, etc. Resource fees vary per class.
- The schedule of resource fees for Mrs. Peggy's classes are as follows:
- U.S. Government - $20 per student
- U.S. Economics - $20 per student
- American Law: An Overview - $50 per student (this is higher because there will be no textbooks for parents to purchase but there will be more handouts, etc. prepared by the teacher)
- Keyboarding / Software Applications - $50 per student.
- Textbooks/resources listed here are purchased by the parent. The textbooks/resources that will be used in the 2018-2019 school year are:
- U.S. Government: Exploring Government by Ray Notgrass. Feel free to purchase from any website, but the link to the correct book can be found here (it is actually a set of two books).
- U.S. Economics: Text to be decided
- American Law: An Overview - None
- Keyboarding / Software Applications: No text required; however a laptop with some version of MS Office (365 is a good option if you don't already have it) is REQUIRED. If this is an impossible feat for you, please contact me to discuss.
- U.S. Government and U.S. Economics are semester classes and contain 16 class periods. Tuition $250 per semester. Tuition may be paid in a lump sum or in monthly payments. Tuition shall be paid by Paypal and directed to [email protected]. Due dates/amounts are:
- Fall Classes:
- A discounted rate of $225 if paid in one lump sum at registration ("Payment in Full").
- Monthly payments of $50 paid by the first of the month. The first month is due at registration and the remaining four payments will be due in the months of September, October, November, and December ("Monthly Installments"). If payment is not received by the 10th of the month, a late fee of $10 will be added to your account. If tuition falls behind, I will contact you. If the tuition becomes two months behind and no arrangements have been made, your student will be administratively dropped from my class.
- Spring Classes:
- A discounted rate of $225 if paid in one lump sum at registration ("Payment in Full").
- Monthly payments of $50 paid by the first of the month. The first month is due at registration and the remaining four payments will be due in the months of September, October, November, and December ("Monthly Installments"). If payment is not received by the 10th of the month, a late fee of $10 will be added to your account. If tuition falls behind, I will contact you. - American Law: An Overview and Keyboarding / Software Applications are full-year offerings and contain 30 classes. Tuition is $450 per year. Tuition may be paid in a lump sum or in monthly payments. Tuition shall be paid by Paypal and directed to [email protected]. Due dates/amounts are:
- A discounted rate of $435 if paid in one lump sum at registration ("Payment in Full").
- Monthly payments of $50 paid by the first of the month.
